It's easy to focus on all the bad stuff in times of crisis. Get the family together and decorate a "Tree of Thanks." Go to your local nursery or buy an artificial one (10-inch tin Christmas tree from Target: $12.99) and write a note of thanks to hang on the tree. Every time you see it, you will remember what you are thankful for.
